GEORGE WAY

Notary Public Litigation Partner since 1982. An accredited commercial mediator, with particular expertise in commercial contract and corporate recovery, he has spearheaded our development of computerised case and document management systems. A specialist niche practice in claims to peerage or other hereditary titles has lead to an nternational reputation as an expert on Scottish Clans. He presently serves as a Member of Council of the Law Society; President of the Society of Solicitors in the Supreme Courts, and Procurator Fiscal to the Court of the Lord Lyon, Scotland's heraldic authority. He is the author of Everyday Scots Law and other works published by Harper Collins.



GRAEME DUNCAN
LL.B NP. WS.

Notary Public Litigation Partner since 1987 having previously developed a dedicated litigation team at another firm. A member of the prestigious society of Writers to Her Majesties Signet, he heads the Supreme Court unit with special interests in Personal Injury and Employment Law. He has been an active member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers for over ten years. In the developing field of Human Rights, which increasingly will impact on many areas legal practice, he has deep roots and is one of a select band of Scots lawyers who have personally represented clients before the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.



LYNN HARRISON
LL.B(Hons). NP. SSC

Litigation Partner since 1989 having trained in the firm. A Law Society accredited Specialist in Family Law she heads up the Family and Child Law teams. She also has expertise in the associated fields of housing law and debt including insolvency. Vice President of the Edinburgh Bar Association her publications include contributed chapters to Everyday Scots Law.



JOHN CAMPBELL
LLB. NP. WS

Partner with Beveridge & Kellas from 1996 to date, specialising in Property Law and asset protection planning including inheritance tax. A Writer to Her Majesties Signet he was previously a senior partner with Macrae, Flett & Rennie WS. Edinburgh between 1983 and 1996 advising in property law for a varied client base including the JW Muir Group of Companies.



GILLIAN CONLON
LLB(Hons). NP. SSC

Partner since 2001 after earlier promotion to Associate. Trained in a larger commercial firm, she has strived to apply her commercial skills with private client needs. Her extensive litigation experience enables her to advise clients on strategies to avoid disputes from the outset. She is currently helping to develop and expand the conveyancing and estate agency department.
