Powers of Attorney
A will covers your wishes on death but what happens if you become incapable, either physically or mentally, of taking care of your own affairs while in life?
A Power of Attorney is a legal document that authorises someone to act on another’s behalf in their affairs, be they private, business or in any other matter, except making a will. We strongly recommend to all our clients, regardless of age or circumstances, to have a Power of Attorney in place.
This means that should the unforeseen happen and you do become incapable of looking after your affairs then you have someone of your choosing in place to make these decisions for you.
A Power of Attorney is a cost effective way of gaining peace of mind that someone you trust will be in charge of your welfare and finances if ever this is required.
